Hi 👋
I am Jitong, as known as Justin, a student and a software engineer with a keen interest in computer systems and machine learning. I am actively seeking opportunities that allow me to specialize and dive deep into challenging projects. My ambition is to harness my passion for scalable systems and machine learning to devise pioneering solutions and navigate complex challenges in the industry.

Bio

I am a computer science and statistics graduate from Carnegie Mellon University, deeply passionate about machine learning and its integration with various systems. Throughout my undergraduate studies, driven by uncertainty and curiosity, I explored the vast landscape of computer science.
My initial real-world exposure was at Meituan, where I optimized asynchronous and distributed training of machine learning models serving over 630 million users. This experience not only enhanced my skills in infrastructure but also sparked my interest in understanding how machine-learning solutions are tailored to meet client needs. This curiosity led me to an internship at Keep, where I was instrumental in designing and developing a graph neural network to recommend personalized workout routines.
Recently, I contributed to developing applications that leverage pre-trained large language models for inference at rabbit inc., inspired by their transformative potential. Most recently, during my internship at LinkedIn, I worked on building an evaluation pipeline for large language models (LLMs), utilizing both proprietary LLMs and fine-tuned open-source models.
With this foundation, I'm eager to expand my expertise further. Please feel free to reach out to me through email or connect with me on LinkedIn using the links below in the footnote.
